Cannot OC this card at all!!?? PC will freeze at random in Crysis 3.

SPECS

  • I had a similar problem on my old gpu, 5770 Radeon, pc would freeze at random playing Crysis 2, but it would let me oc a little but only about 25% of what most people could get out of it.

    Any Ideas?

It's possible that you are trying to push your GPU too much. My 670's top out at +147MHz on core and +512MHz on VRAM.

I can't even get any oc out of it at all, not even + 40 MHz on only the gpu, havent tried lower than 40 but will today. Most reviews of the same card got around +75 or more.

Hmm... You could try a new PSU, I have never heard of the brand and wouldn't be able to tell you of it's reliability, but it specs appear good. http://www.pcpower.com/products/description/Silencer_76...

I think you might not have a very good GPU for overclocking further as it is already factory OC'ed.

Managed to figure it out, just modded the bios, and flashed it, the 12mV increase wasn't kicking in, but now it is, and seems to be doing good. Thanks for the help.
