Hello, I am in the process of building my own computer and I would like to know what graphics card between those 4 should I buy? The version of the 770 I'm looking at is the 4GB version and obviously it's a lot cheaper than the other 3. Should I buy that one or save up for the 690, 780, or Titan? I'm looking to play games on Ultra (I.E.) BF3

Solution
Get the GTX 770 is better bang per buck! Reasonable pricing
13% performance increase over the GTX 670
Extremely quiet in idle
Fast 7 Gbps GDDR5 memory
Overclocked out of the box
Up to four active outputs
Support for CUDA and PhysX

Oh, well I didn't include the 760 in my list, but you would recommend that one or the 770?

i would recommend the 760

according to your list ill go with the Titan because its massively powerful. and it gives perfect FPS. and it hold it self temp magicly.

I have the 770, very powerful card. The thing is, right now is an awkward time to buy nvidia though. With AMDs r9 280x being roughly the same performance as the 770, but priced roughly $100 cheaper, it's a no brainer. Nvidia is expected to drop their prices soon, but until then, nvidia doesn't make sense.

Oh, I'll keep an eye on that GPU. Do you play a lot of your games on ultra with the 770 with no problem??

Ok, great :D I know you have a lot of knowledge with gpus but are you good with cases for computers and stuff? Like I need to know what motherboard to get for the case like in terms of if all the front panel connections will go together with the connections on the motherboard.

Warleech, thanks for the links. I was looking at the mobo but I'm confused cause the case has a combo of USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports and I wanted to know if all the cables on the front panel, like the USB connectors, power connector, would all fit with that motherboard? Thanks.

bigcyco1, thank you for pulling up all this information for me that was really generous of you, the 770 looks great, I think I'll go for that one, and the 4gb version, even better. :D

I'll say the Titan is a complete waste of money. 690 is very good but expensive. Get the 690 if you have the money. 780 is a very good buy but for better prformance a dual SLI of 770 is a Titan killer. I'd go for a 780. Although this isnt on your list, get a AMD Radeon HD 7990. I think 7990 is a good choice since in the UK its like 500GBP for preformance matched with a 690. But again 7990 suffers from microstuttering. But the best out of all of the cards in my opinion is the 690.Although 690 is expensive.

Well, here's another one you can help me out on. I've been looking very carefully to when the AMD 290x will be released because I hear that is going to kill the 780 and have close competition with Titan. What do you think about that card instead?

AMD Radeon R9 290x is a good buy and in the uk I've seen some for a price range of 430GBP to 550GBP.

Here is the Sapphire r9 290x.

Here is Msi R9 290x.

And finally the XFX R9 290x

But NVidia is releasing the 780 Ti so prices on 780 and other will go down.
But again the R9 290x crossfire may show a sign of microstuttering. Or you can go for 1 ,the best option :)

This may be a stupid question but what is microstuttering lol? And what do you mean by 1, the best option? The first like you put out of the three?

Doesn't matter if you don't know. But I know what microsttutering is. It's when your frames per second go unussually down for a period of time. If it's few seconds that is fine. But it get worse sometimes. And what I mean by 1 is 1 graphics card. 1 AMD graphics card tends to be better than 2 since it micro stutters alot. But 2 Nvidia Graphics Card are all right.

Raumaan, thanks for your response. To be honest, I'm really considering the 290x but at the same time I want to wait for it to be released to hear the opinion of the card from other consumers, and then if its bad, I'll probably consider 1 780.
