I am looking to make a gaming PC on a bit of a budget. I already have an DVD+RW, HDD, and Windows so they don't really factor into the price.

What I am thinking of getting is an AMD FX-6300 (3.5 GHz), 960GM/U3S3 FX, 8gb or DDR3 Ram, a Radeon R9 270x, A cooler master tower, and an EVGA 500w PSU. That puts me are just around $530.

Will that work for gaming? Are there going to be any issues between the parts (bottlenecks, not enough power, etc.)? Thank you.

Eh I guess that's pretty decent considering your budget. Not a big fan of AMD so I don't really have much opinion. You should consider investing in SSD. It will speed things up.

Great. I am also willing to listen to other suggestions that break the budget slightly if you think that will give a noticeable benefit. I am happy enough with AMD that have been built for me in the past. I know they are not the best, but you can't beat the price. Either way, thank you for taking a look and helping me out.
