Hi, I was just surfing the web on my computer and went to plug in my new keyboard. The Clear CMOS button is directly above the USB ports, and so I brushed against the button. Now my computer BSODs on the "Windows is loading..." screen and it takes me back to the "Windows didn't shut down properly" screen.

All options (Safe mode, normal, last good config) blue screen for me. The blue screen is on screen for a millisecond, so I can't read it. I tried resetting UEFI settings to default, saving, and then starting, but it still blue screens.

I am running Windows7 64bit.

Solution
After clear the CMOS, you need reset Boot sequence. Also you may need go to the BIOS, set the AHCI mode for the boot drive (Hdd or ssd) like in the storage section. If you have more than one HDD and it don't connect to the SATA #1 port.

Thanks. I went into the Advanced settings of UEFI and changed the boot mode from IDE to AHCI.
