Windows 7 64-bit Pro low volume problem???

My Lenovo T61 has a volume problem. I can momentarily increase the volume with the slider, but as soon as I let go it drops back down to about half of what it was.

This happens on web pages and local MP3 files.

Does anyone know how to increase the volume?

Try updating the audio driver.Also,you could try to Disable front panel jack detection in Realtek Audio Manager,if yours is the Realtek.Another thing you could give a shot is,if it's Realtek driver you're having,just uninstall the driver and see if the problem is fixed (Microsoft forums suggestion).
