I'd like to know what you guys get in Prime95 using the first stress test option for various GHz.
Currently I have temperature rates of 70 degrees (all in Celsius) upwards on my FX-8350 @ 4GHz stock with H100i's fan at Maximum Speed. 75 degrees at quiet mode. The thermal paste is the pre-applied paste on H100i.
From a previous thread, I was directed to believe it is my H100i's fault. So I called the place I bought it from and they weren't convinced (I guess its usually user error). So I wanted to get some idea of what temperatures a H100i and 8350 running Prime95 gets among the masses as material to convince the store to replace it.
So for me:
4.0GHz 70 Degrees (Max Fan - Corsair Link)
4.0GHz 75 Degrees (Quiet Mode - Corsair Link)
4.1GHz 79 Degees
4.2GHz 86 Degrees (Prime95 will Crash the System after a few minutes on 4.2GHz)
4.3GHz Crash(88+)
