Hello all,

I bought a PNY 660 Ti (XLR8) just before the 700 series came out. Everyone gave great recommendations for it and with a Newegg deal I think I got it for under $200. I am very happy with it and was looking to future proof a little further with it by getting a 2nd to use in SLI. But I ran into a snag:

I cannot find any new PNY 660 Ti models from reputable merchants not selling it below $250. This card is now dated to a degree so I expected sellers to dwindle, but not like this. I do not believe newegg has it anymore. What's the deal? I would like to purchase another one, preferably new but may have to take used, and would like to get one for under $200 like before. I did not think this would be such an issue.

A follow up to this is that everything I read says that to SLI a PNY with non-PNY would cause a decreased return of the other card as the PNY is the base. Is this true? Is it fairly negligible due to the inability to acquire another PNY at this point? I don't want to burn extra cash on a better 660 Ti if it will knock down to (or below) the PNY. Just need a little advice. Cheers.
