So I have the hp p6654y which can be found here

basic rundown is 2.8 quad core, 4gb dd3 ram, 750gb hardrive.
main issues are 250w power supply & intergrated hd4200.
I'm trying to decide on whether I should upgrade to a new computer such as

for ~$650
or just upgrade to a pretty good psu & gpu which will probably run me roughly $150-200.
Basically just a question of would the new pc be worth the extra ~$400+ dollars, or will my computer run most newish games fine with a new psu+gpu.
