Nvidia driver install fails

Running setup.exe in the default directory set up by the downloader I get a message "The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way". The setup files are located on drive C:.. When I copy the setup files to drive D: the setup.exe runs normal!

well...maybe u should check your diskspace in C, sometimes lack of diskspace causes a lot of weird errors.

232 gb drive with 145 gb free. I want to add that everytime I run setup.exe I get a windows security warning. When I run it from the D: driver no warnings, setup comes up just fine and the installer does it's job.
