Price Lowering for my Build

do you really need a WD black HDD for movies and music?

you can get a normal 3tb HDD for $100. Also, i know some of these prices can be found cheaper if you check neweggg/TD for daily promo codes and rebates.

Also, can you really fit a 240mm radiator in a micro case?!?! I'm not saying you cant, it might be some special case designed to use it (im not doing all the reaserch for you :) just making a point)

Also, you can save over $300 going with a QNIX qx2710 monitor on ebay for only $290
it uses the samsung PLS panel, does 1440p at 120hz.
check out the info on overclock.net about them.

i bought one in june and have had no issues.. works great!

I do plan to get an 840 Evo (I think). What is a caviar black vs. something else? What is another good Western Digital 7200RPM drive?

I want to stick with the Asus Monitor. Just in case of pixels.

Also, as the 240mm radiator fits in the 350D. The H100i is made by corsair, just like the 350D. I think it will be fine, people say it has been.

I would drop the fan and the Intel overclocking warranty. If it's a pure gaming build, drop to an i5-4670K. Just as good but without hyper threading, which only a few games support.

Also, I don't agree with others to purchase a single 3TB HDD. A larger hard drive is less portable and less flexible. It takes forever to format, partition, back up, etc. I rather settle for a few smaller drives.

If you want to keep the budget down, you need to change some items, like you say get 840 evo SSD, if this pc is for games you will not notice the differences between them.
Also because you have the SSD for boot drive then you don't need the Caviar Black 2TB, if you get the Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM SATA3 64MB Cache from NCIX for $85, and get the SeaSonic M12II 850 SS-850AM 850W for $70 from newegg.com. I think the budget will be closed to the range you want and don't lose the performances.

First - I want to stay with WD for the HDD and Corsair for the PSU.
Second - What is another "Cheaper" 7200 RPM 2tB WD Drive?
Third - Would I notice a performance difference between a 120GB Evo and a 250 GB Evo?
Fourth - Do I need 250 GBs for a boot drive? I might load SOME programs on it but not so many.

Sorry for being difficult,
Lucas

2. The Seagate Barracuda is the only good alternative
3. It does have slightly slower write speeds but its not that big of a deal because most of what youll be doing is reading from the drive
4. No, i have a 128 GB 840 PRO and I still have 60GB left with all of my programs installed (and thats a lot!).

Other WD 2TB $146 (green) and $150 ( black, amazon), not much you can save. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/western-digital-internal-hard-drive-wd2002faex
If you only load some programs, but it is depend on how many you install? In real world usage there is not much performance difference between 120GB and 256 GB, only the price, space and benchmark.
For the PSU, SeaSonic is top brand and it make the psu for corsair HX too. Here is "Who's Who In Power Supplies" http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/power-supply-oem-manufacturer,2913.html

I would be hackintosh triple booting (if I'm allowed to say that on TH)

If it was 250 or 256 (what is formatted below) this is what i would do:

If I had 256:
96 GB to Windows
96 GB to mac
64GB to Ubuntu

If I had 128 -
48 GB to Windows
48 GB to Mac
32 GB to Ubuntu

I would also have about 10 GB or less in programs on each OS probably. Opinions?
