Looking for a quad channel memory setup for my x79 rig. Anyone that any preference? (will be used as work station 90% of the time)

Was thinking between these, but that can change :)

G.Skill Ares 32GB DDR3 PC-14900 1866MHz 10-11-10 2N 200€
G.Skill RipjawsZ 32GB DDR3 PC-14900 1866MHz CL10 230€
Corsair Vengeance Pro Black 32GB DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz CL9 250€
G.Skill Ripjaws Z 32GB DDR3 PC17000/2133MHz CL9 270€

According to Tomshardware test on high end memory sticks they recommend the dominatior kit, which I can not afford.
Now the question is between speed and timings. (and how much they actually matter)

Of those three, I'd go with the Ripjaws Z, they are slightly optimized for true quad channel, they originally came out aimed directly at the X79 and do in fact run great on the X79 platform, another good choice would be the GSkill Snipers in 4x8GB at either 2133 or 2400

Where I am getting my memory from I can only get
G.Skill Sniper 16GB DDR3 PC-17000 2133MHz (F3-17000CL9Q-16GBSR) (4x4GB).

Does it matter if i get two of those kits (8x4gb) or should i opt for 4x8gb kit? (ASUS P9X79 PRO) board

Thousand thanks for fast reply. Got just one more last question if you have time.

I just found this kit G.Skill RipjawsX 32GB DDR3 PC-17000 2133MHz CL9 (F3-2133C9Q-32GXH) (4x8GB) which is 20€ chaper then G.Skill Ripjaws Z 32GB DDR3 PC17000/2133MHz CL9

Only difference is X insted of Z, and they are 20euros cheaper.
Is this a marketing ploy, or does it actually matter?

X is a different set, they were aimed at the 1155 mobos and run fine in the X79, I have this exact set in my Sandy Bridge build (2500K, at 4.8) and have used those sticks in a few Z79 builds to show folks how the 32GB 2133/9 sets run - and those are at a good price, normally they run the same as the Zs
