Today I setup a new PC for my sister, and I use dmy spare 1TB HDD that was in a previous build (tore apart my main D; ), formatted it, installed the OS, and booted it up. It all has seemed fune and when I had formatted it in the OS setup, it said all data was free. But now I cannot install any programs because it says that my HDD is full, to the exact amount I had it before i took it from my old build. Is there some weird hidden backup? or did it not format correctly? and is there a way I can free up this space?
EDIT: Ojay, i found the problem, when I set up the OS, i partitioned the drive, but did it incorrectly, so i have 900+GB unallocated, and 16 usable. How to i use the unallocated?
