MSI Radeon 7790 crossfirex or single 650 Ti boost / 660?

I am currently planning on building my first computer and my motherboard (Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H Micro ATX) only supports CrossfireX, not SLI. Originally I was planning to get a single 650 Ti boost, but now am wondering if a MSI 7790 would be better because I could always add another in crossfireX. Alternatively, ( although this would stretch my budget a little), I could use a GTX 660. Which of these graphics cards would offer the best price to performance ratio?

It is not recommended to d a crossfire on a board like yours with the second slot running at X4 speed it works on average with 10% performance penalty over better boards. I say get the card you want and when time comes and upgrade is needed just get a better card.

Thanks for the help. Do you have any suggestions for haswell compatible motherboards with better SLI/CrossfireX?

Boards that run the slots at X8 X8 speeds with two cards support both CF and SLI, here is a list http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/motherboard/#l=2&s=24&sort=a6
I would look at the 4th and the 5th boards on that list.

Thanks again. I think I will go with the ASRock z87 extreme 3 with the two HD 7790 in CrossfireX
