how to update gigabyte m/b bios? i dont know my m/b info

Sounds like your cmos battery might be dead, try replacing it. But to get your motherboard info download CPUZ:
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
load it up, then go to the 'mainboard' tab and it will tell you what you have
then google that and go to the website, the support page, downloads, and find the newest bios (if you still have the problem after the battery swap)
