Not able to update to W8.1

So I moved my "Users" folder from my SSD to my HDD a while ago and now when I try to update to Windows 8.1 I get the error saying:
"Sorry, it looks like this PC can't run Windows 8.1. This might be because the Users or Program Files folder is being redirected to another partition."

What should I do now? Move the "users" folder back somehow or is there another workaround?

Thanks!

(I'll provide further information if needed.)

That is strange I updated to Windows 8.1 just fine and my User folder was redirected to drive D: to save space on my SSD yet the updated went just fine and all of my redirected folders and files were just fine after the update. Can't say what is going on with your update. Best bet would be to move them back do the update and then move them again. A pain I know but that might be what you will have to do.

Well that's odd..
It's been a while since I moved the folder, can you link me a tutorial or something?

This is a different user than kiuru. I do have a legit (w/pdt key) w8 backup disk. Perhaps you might share the links kiuru requested, here? Thank you.
