Hey guys, I'm new here. I'm going to be building a computer soon, probably between Black Friday and Christmas time. I'm going to be using this computer for about 4~5 years, and that's why I'm deciding to go with the 4930K, although I'll mainly be gaming, and doing some video rendering. Can you tell me if this build is ok? Btw, I might need some help with the PSU. Thanks in advance :)

- i7 4930k
- x79 Sabertooth
- WD Black 1 TB
- Asus direct CU2 Gtx 760 OR Asus direct CU2 R9 280x
- CX Series CX600M 600 Watt
- Fractal design R4
- Corsair h100i Water cooling
- Vengeance 16GB DDR3-1866 Quad channel (same price as 1600, why not)

Nice rig but all high range items and then a budget PSU
Couple of better modular units PC P&C http://pcpartpicker.com/part/pc-power--cooling-power-su...
Corsair TX M http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-tx650...

Get 650-700w PSU, this will give you much more headroom, if you would like to overclock and such.

I would not use a Sabertooth motherboard with the Core i7-4930K, mainly because you need another Sandy Bridge-E CPU to perform a BIOS update to support that CPU and they are not cheap. I would go for this. It's cheaper, has the same overclocking performance and will support your CPU out of the box -

Asus X79 Deluxe Socket 2011 motherboard - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-x79deluxe

Other than that, your system should be fine.

There is a 650 corsair in my previous post.

It's not available at microcenter.

Will I be able to OC the processor and the gpu if I wanted to?

Yes. You should be fine, as both components don't use so much power while gaming, even when overclocking.

Thanks once again. I have another question (sorry, this is my first build) about the cpu. How much faster is the i7 4770k in terms of video rendering/multithreaded workloads (Please no percents, actual data comparisons)?
