I need help choosing a monitor. I am looking to get a 24 inch monitor. Should I get one with speakers or not? Which is better to use HDMI or DVI and whats the difference. What all do I need to look for when buying one? I will be doing some light gaming and mostly used to stream movies and tv shows online. Also what brands should I consider over others.Please help.

1. No speakers. The speakers are usually crap.
2. Either one. HDMI carries audio, which is useful is you have speakers attached. But otherwise, DVI and use external speakers.
3. LED, IPS vs TN, brightness, contrast, aspect ratio, resolution, and price.
4. I recommend Asus.
