Can someone please assist me with a method to remove/clean up the following virus:

Threat: virus.win32.expiro.gen.a (v)
Category: Virus.W32

I am currently running Windows Server 2008. I do have Vipre Anti-virus installed which notified me about the threat and quarantined the virus, but is there a specific anti-virus program or internet security sweep that can completely remove or clean the virus from the server?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi JRom,

By default, Viruses quarantined in Vipre are deleted after 15 days, however if you want to delete it now then select the quarantined item and at the bottom of the list there will be a "Delete from computer" button. Just press that and it will delete the quarantined item. The Virus won't cause any harm while in quarantine if you're concerned of that but I agree that it's always nice to just remove items from quarantine anyway.
