I take my desktop tower along with me all over the place, but when plugging the power supply back in and turning on, all BIOS settings are lost and so is the W7 system time (fortunately W7 has a quick-timesync feature)

Also another thing that bugs me but less so.. when I plug the power in and turn the power supply on, I can't boot the computer. But then, I turn the power supply off, wait 4 seconds, turn it on, wait 4 seconds, I can boot the computer just fine. Why can't it just boot right off the bat?

But yeah about the lost settings, fortunately the Z87-Pro has a favorites page and I've favorited every setting I need to change from stock settings and thus I can quickly get my settings back to normal. However its still very annoying.

I never had either of these problems on my old EVGA x58 SLI mobo -- BIOS settings maintained, computer available for powerup as soon as power supply is turned on. I'd been using the same power supply as I had before, a Corsair 750w, no problems then, and no additional added hardware that could be spiking up the power usage (my 4770k runs more efficiently than my 920 as I had my 920 oc'ed to 3.6ghz on 1.4v vcore)

Please help!
