are UpStar monitors bad?

Solution
Hi,

Here are some reviews :

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=upstar+monitor&N=-1&isNodeId=1

http://www.amazon.com/Upstar-Tambo-ALG-24LED11-1080p-HDTV/product-reviews/B005ODCLFK
http://www.amazon.com/Upstar-P24EWT-24-Inch-1080p-LED-Lit/product-reviews/B009IF5A6C

most are 3-4 stars but people who had problems, said costumer support is bad. So if you get a good screen ,you should be fine but if you get problems you'll be stuck with a faulty screen.

Personally , I would spend a bit more money to get a known brand screen.

I have actually bought about 40 or so of these monitors from both Newegg.com and Amazon. I have not had one bad one. Not a malfunctioning one anyways. A couple of them had some minor scratches on the stand. Almost like they were repackaged/used units. No biggie for me as I ordered them in 3 batches for an office environment. Amazing picture quality. Really can't believe just how good they do look!!! Not one has died but can definitely see why some would worry. I strongly recommend these monitors if you can still find them. They seem to be getting harder and harder to find.
