I'm trying to start an archaic.... age old.... Gateway Model 450ROG in safe mode. I use the F8 key method by either rapidly tapping it, or holding it and I get, Error 0210, Stuck Key. Is there another way to access Safe mode or am I going to have to get a hold of a Windows XP disc and start from scratch?

The whole reason behind the safe mode is that I have 15 of these computers, with admin accounts, and I was never given a password. So I was hoping to get into the safe mode administrator account and remove the passwords.

Hi,

Usually, this happens when you press f8 while bios is posting. You need to do it just before windows boots. Sometime it's tricky to do. Also, if you power off while windows is booting, it should ask you to repair / start in safe mode the next time you power it on. But you have some chance of corrupting windows while doing that.
