Hey guys, I've got a i7-950 at stock speeds, currently paired with an old 460. I'm looking to upgrade my gpu, but I'm concerned about bottle necking. I mostly play FFXIV, STALKER, and Street Fighter

Solution
For 300 dollars you should consider of getting 7950. It is about 250-280 dollars. From money you saved you can buy CPU cooler and OC your CPU a little bit just to sure that you won't have any bottlekneck.
GPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161420 (270 dollars)
CPU cooler - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099 (35 dollars)

Total : 305 dollars. High end device :)
BTW these games you mentioned will fly with this build. You can even max BF4 I think. At least high for sure.

I'd like to spend no more than 300, but there's a bit of flex.

Thanks for the response. My only reservation is that people have been reporting odd graphical errors in FFXIV with the 7950 like micro stutter and yellow flashes, but I'll do a bit more research on the matter.
