Hi, i just finished building my very first pc, and have ran into some issues(most have been resolved). I have 2 hard drives on my computer, in SATA slot 0 i have a 240 GB SSD, and in SATA slot 1 i have a 2TB hard drive. when i go into my computer i have access to the SSD drive, but it gives me no option to access my HD. i look at my system settings and it claims that it can read the 2200GB of free space, but i cant access the HD. even in my BIOS it registers that the Hd is there. i dont know if this would change anything, but my SSD in slot 0 registers as C:, and then my optical drive registers as D: even though its in SATA slot 2 and my HD is in SATA slot 1. shouldnt my optical drive technically be E:, and my HD D:. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Go into disk management and see if it shows 2 disks. You probably need to create a volume and format it.

The system only sees 1 dick, so it assigns it as C. Then it assigns the CD-rom as D. It won't automatically re-assign D if it sees a new drive. I usually re-assign my dvd drives to something else like R or X so I know all my drives are at the top.
