I am having seriously high DPC issues stemming from multiple places. Ive tried everything I can find from serious to stupidity to doing a chant and tribal dance to the gods around this laptop.
Disabling:
Sound, Network Card, USB mouse, DVD player etc.. to no avail. formatted and freshed in a new Win 7 64
still the same, Flashed BIOS back to what it was when I bought this a yr and some ago. Still the same. All updated drivers (tried origional drivers from HP too)
I havent even tickled the problem.
HP Pavillion g6-1d40ca
Windows 7 Home Prem. 64bit
AMD A4-3305m Radeon HD 6480g 512mem.
2 gig DDR3
4 gig DDR3
USB MS Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000
IDT PC Audio
Insyde F.48 Bios
Newest drivers I can find anywhere (2011 & 12 most (except New Vid Drivers))
Wireless disabled, Cat5'd directly into Shaw cable modem.
Plugged into wall power 24/7
HdAudBus.sys
storport.sys
ACPI.sys
i8042prt.sys
ndis.sys
USBPORT.sys
just some of the ones that I could catch. There is one thing thats funny tho. in LatencyMon's Stats report I get this:
Reported CPU speed: 1896.0 MHz
Measured CPU speed: 935.0 MHz (approx.)
Which is odd because I have Cool & Quiet Disabled and Catalyst Control Center as well as Core Temp both show my processors at 100% so thee should be no throttling going on.
