Which one of these cards is the best bang for the buck? Also might be a little off topic but will I have any issues with them in my HP H8-1360T? I have a different case now so all the cards will fit in it.

280X(7970) would be your best bet if your an overclocker as it's silky smooth. The GTX 770(modified kepler 680) is best if you dont plan on OCing, but just want pre-built power hungry card. And last, the 760(modified kepler), it is almost as fast as a 670, but it is slower. If you want to use any of these cards, then you would definitely need to upgrade that PSU. Ko888 should be to the rescue for a very explained PSU estimate. But personally I'd buy a 550W-600W PSU, and a 770 since I dont think you want to OC.

id say 280x the 280x is faster clock for clock than the 7970

Obviously yes, my 7970(280X) is running 1267Mhz/1520MHz atm on air. While the 280X may be pre-clocked higher, it's only for maybe 1-2 frames more than a STOCK 7970.

From what I have read the R9 280x has better performance than both the Nvidia cards and I believe it is priced just above the GTX 760 at USD 300. Another note to add is the new AMD drivers are kick ass and seem to provide a massive performance boost. The R9 also has 3Gb RAM which gives you a little bit of headroom with future proofing your GPU.

Yup, loving the driver support. I switched from a 670 Windforce to a ASUS DC2 7970 and it's unlocked and killed my 670. I expected driver chaos(NVIDIA fanboy) but then I was very surprised.
