win8 freezes when installing drivers

Just when installing any drivers windows 8 freezes and idk why. There is a guy who tells me that my gpu isn't compatible with my mobo, but I dont think so..
system specs:
asrock x79 extreme 6
i7 4930k
amd 6990
x-fi titanium fatal1yt chanpion series
32 gb Corsair Vengeance PC3-12800 DDR3 1600 cl9
ssd ocz vertex 3 (win8 installed)
hdd wd caviar black 1tb
seasonic x-850w

I got last ssd firmware, win 8.1 enterprise evaluation (I'm trying it ofc before buy it..), last bios.

Well nice pc, not compatible lol. Now does it freeze before you can do anything or are you trying to start a game? I have an nvidia card but if i update drivers and dont reboot i get an error and forced reboot.
 
pull the sound card out to see if the sound card is using irq or memory range of a device. install the intel chipset drivers. the mei drivers first then reboot. make sure in the bios the onboard sound card is turned off if your going to use a 3 party card. install the network and video card drivers (use the newest amd drivers from amd web page). if the system not locking up. power it down...put the sound card on the last bottom slot first. power up install the sound card drivers see if it hangs. if it hanging look at the mb irq guild see what slots are sharing irq. you may have to turn off serail or parrel port in the bios to free up and irq.
