So I bought the asus xonar dg sound card and took it to the computer store to have it put in along with some other stuff and they said that it won't go in because I dont have a pci slot. Here are my specs

N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX (Alvorix)

Manufacturer: Foxconn
Form factor: uATX
Chipset: AMD 785G
Memory sockets: 4 x DDR3
Front side bus speeds: 1333/1066/800MHz
Processor socket: AM3
Expansion Slots
1 PCI Express x16 slot for graphics card
3 PCI Express x1 slots
1 PCI Express x1 minicard slot

Am I missing something? It says pci 5.1 but im assuming 5.1 means 5.1 dolby.

PCI is a legacy expansion slot as is AGP. PCI-Express (a.k.a. PCI-E) is the newest expansion slot and is not compatible with PCI cards (i.e. your ASUS Zonar DG). Return that card and look for a version that is PCI-Ex1.
