I'll be upgrading my Current Build
Radeon HD 5850
Some Gigabyte Mobo
Phenom 720 BE x3 2.8GHZCPU (OC 3.4GHZ)
Hyper 212 EVO Cooler
120GB Intel SSD
to New Build
7970 (or New AMD Series)
MSI Z87-G41 PC Mate ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Bundled with
Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor for ($260 from MicroCenter)
G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
I use my PC for gaming, gaming/recording (Using DXTory), and video editing.
I know the 4770k would be more useful for recording and video editing but Seems a bit expensive.
I'd like your guys' perpective on whether I should wait for the CPU/Mobo to go on sale for black friday or not?
If the 4770k goes on sale for cheaper than MicroCenter's current price I'll upgrade for that.
