so i recently installed a thing called click bios and control center, which had a feature called oc genie II, and i turned it on, and it started to automatically overclock my cpu and change my voltage. i didnt like it, so i disabled it. it didnt stop autoclocking, so i ununstalled it and it still didnt stop how do i stop it???

Solution
Is it still trying to overclock the CPU, or is the speed just bouncing around under the maximum speed?

I'm not that familiar with newer AMD processors (newest AMD processor I have is the Turion in my laptop), but Cool n Quiet will adjust your CPU's speed based on load.

I have a similar BIOS setup on my desktop's motherboard (MSI Z77A-GD55) using an Intel processor, so if I mention a setting that isn't applicable to your motherboard, let me know.

Solution

If the processor is properly uninstalled the changes most of taken place in the BIOS. If you do not have any special settings in the BIOS I would go ahead and reset the BIOS to its default settings.
