Intel Core i5 4670k
Asus Maximus VI Hero
EVGA Geforce GTX 770 /w ACX Cooling
Corsair TX650M Power Supply
Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1866 Cas 9
Samsung 840 Evo
120GB SSD

Cooler Master HAF 912

I'm completely new to solid-state drives and overclocking. Notice I didn't buy an aftermarket cooler... I'd like to be able to overclock this to a stable 4.0GHz and be well under maximum temp range under load. The only game I play is World of Warcraft (which isn't too demanding). I would possibly like to stream at some point. I hope this system would be capable of doing so without lag. Any tips/advice for this build? How to O.C. this chip the easiest and safest way? All input is welcomed and appreciated. Thanks.

Also, as I understand it, I need to enable XMP in BIOS for the memory to work correctly???

You may be able to get to 4GHz without needing an aftermarket cooler. It is recommended though. Your system would be able to play WoW on ULTRA without an issue and stream without an issue as well. I would first try overclocking to 4GHz and run a few burn in tools to see if the temperatures get over 70C. If they do I would buy a aftermarket cooler. That motherboard should be able to detect the memory settings without an issue. If it doesn't there is a setting in the BIOS where you can chose X.M.P. and it will automatically adjust the RAM timings.

Cheers!
