I get no display after installing my new graphics card into my pre-built computer.

At first I just tried plugging in the new card into the pcie slot after installing a new 450W PSU.

I know nothing went wrong during the PSU change because when I plug my old video card (the gt 640), I get display on my monitor.

I then unistalled the GT 640 driver, turned my pc off, unplugged everything and inserted my new graphics card into the pcie slot. I get a black screen. The 2 6pin pcie connectors are plugged into the card and the psu in the proper configuration.

What am I doing wrong?

I guess it's also worth mentioning that I tried changing the video source from auto to pcie in the BIOS.
