Hi everyone,

My rig is power cycling on and off before booting up, also it does not recover from sleep mode.

Here what happens:

1. I press the power button.
2. Mobo lights up, fans start rotating.
3. Mobo starts displaying Q-Codes on the LED display.
3. Mobo displays Q-Code 55 and all fans and lights (except power button light) turn Off.
4. Everything powers up again and the PC boots up.

My Specs:

ASUS Z87-PRO
Intel i5-4670K (Not OC)
Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x4GB 1600
Seasonic Platinum 660W

Things I have tried so far (In order):
1. Reseated all PSU cables.
2. Updated my BIOS to V 1405 (latest).
3. I reseated my CMOS battery.
4. I set the memory profile XMP in the BIOS.
5. I reseated my RAM/ Changed slots from A1&A2 to B1& B2.
6. Disconnected case power button and booted from the Mobo power button (In case the case's Power button was being shorted).
7. Disconnected all SATA devices.
8. I reseated my CPU.

The only instance where the cycling does not occur is when I disconnect my memory completely. Of course in this case the PC does not boot up.

I am at my wits end and could really use some help. Thanks in advance

To keep your comp from not booting back up in sleep mode, change your power settings to high performance or don't allow your comp to go to sleep.

To fix the double boot, try upping your RAM's voltage.

I increased my RAM's voltage from 1.5 V to 1.55 V and I am still getting the double boot, should I go higher?
