I'm running Win7 on a Sony vpcea390x, I've tried downloading drivers from the Sony site for my BluRay/DVD drive... but not luck. It will eject and spin the media, but it won't read or write to it. I have a MATSHITA BD-CMB UJ141AL. Finding drivers to this seems very... rough. Links/Advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

I hope this is the correct thread to post in...

make sure you set your region in the software 'AnyDVD'

heres the steps.

Right click the fox on your system tray. Exit AnyDVD
Click start. Right click on "My computer"--->select "properties".
Click on the 'Hardware' tab--->click the 'device manager' button.
Open the dvd/cdrom branch---> right click on your optical drive
Click "properties".
You should have a region tab. From there you can select a region.
Select the region that you're in.
Start AnyDVD.
