I got a new MSI GS70 gaming laptop. It has an i7 4770 CPU, GTX 765M GPU, and 16 GB RAM. But frankly, my old build that had an i5 3550, 8gb Corsair Vengeance RAM, and a HiS 7870 looked much better. I know this laptop can handle more, but how? What do I have to do to get the most out of it's performance and visuals?

outside of uninstalling whatever junk it may have come with pre-installed, or a complete reformat, not a whole lot else.
for clarification, a laptop's hardware despite the near similar model no., do not perform as good as it's Desktop counterpart. your 7870 is leagues ahead of that 765m, which performs close to a 7770, so it's only natural it's not gonna look as good; http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-765M.92907.0.html
