I get this BSOD at random every couple of days. Can some please help me identify the source of the problem?

I would recommend you to uninstall the driver and if possible to try a different USB wireless adapter (just to be sure) and if you see that you don't get any more BSOD then buy a new one.

I think that giving now some money on an adapter is more prefarable and safe route than have to spent much more in case that the BSOD cause more serious problems on your pc.
