Is my graphics card dying?

Hi everyone:

I have a laptop that I bought about 10 months ago. It has a NVidia 675m graphics card. Everything was fine until two days ago; I started getting random freezes, the freezes don't last long. Sometimes it would give that notice saying "video card driver has recovered", sometimes it does not give that notice. Yesterday my laptop for the first time got a Windows 8 BSOD with the error message "Video_TDR_Failure". Since then the computer will without fail freeze briefly shortly after being turned on; then at some random time, usually when a game is running, it would completely crash and be forced to restart with the same "Video_TDR_Failure" message.

When the card is not crashing everything is fine, there's no anomaly or artifacts at all. I have not done any video card related changes recently except a driver update two days ago. I redid a clean installation of the latest driver today but that did not solve the problems. I will try to revert to an older driver and check for dust build up this weekend. Do the things I've mentioned sound like the symptoms of a dying graphics card? Beside trying older driver and dusting, is there anything else I can/should do to confirm? Thanks for the help.
