I built a desktop almost 2 and half years ago which ran fine up until today. I had left the computer in sleep mode but when I returned to my room I could not get it to turn back on. Nothing happens when I hit the power button - no fans, no lights, no anything. Tried starting the computer by bridging the power pins on the motherboard but nothing happened. Made sure all the plugs were properly seated. I'm assuming the psu went but could also be something else? Is there anyway to test this without using a multimeter or swapping out components without someone else?

I actually figured out the problem. I went and bought a new psu but realized that I didn't need one. After multiple hours of trouble shooting I came across a problem with one of the internal usb motherboard headers. I unhooked the front panel usb ports from the mobo and everything seems to be working fine.
