Hi,

I've just overclocked my 8320 to 3.8 using the multiplier. I don't want to go any further due to my crappy motherboard (asrock pro3 r2.0)

I did a ten minute test with OCCT on 3.8ghz, 1.4125v. The results are below

Is this stable? My system seems to be running fine, but I've noticed some spikes in the results. Is that normal?

I am not sure why your vcore graph is showing such frequent drops to very low voltages like that. It may be a glitch, but as long as it's 100% it should stay constant.

Once you got it all figured out you should run that test overnight while you sleep and check back when you wake up. Or try the linpack test at 90% ram and AVX and run it for an hour at least or more. Keep in mind the linpack typically shows higher temperatures then the other tests, but you don't need to run it quite as long. It also has breaks where it's not 100% load unlike the OCCT test, but personally I would do both of the tests to make sure all is good.
