A really simple question about a pc case!

So yea, I am plannign on getting the m5a99x motherboard and want to get tis pc case:

I am just concerned as to how i would fit the mohterboard across the top of the case where the usb's are

That is... not how that works. Those USB ports will connect to the usb headers on the motherboard by cables built into the case. The don't directly click into each other.

The motherboard goes inside the case.

could you possibly explain further? Obviously i am retarded when it comes to this so can you please explain simply. What is a usb header exactly, and how doe it connect to the motherboard

you see the 'front usb 3.0 header' and 'on/off charge USB' labels? a cable from the case plugs into one of or the other of those

if you case has USB 3.0 front panel, there is a cable coming from there that will plug into the USB 3.0 port connection on the motherboard. If its USB 1.1/2.0, it plugs into the other USB port instead.

I'm so go damn stupid. But anyway, will i have to position the motherboard awkwardly, because surely to have the usb ports up there it would have to be horizontal not vertical, and if you can place it vertically, would i have to set up the wiring for it?

The cables are flexible and around 2 feet long - the ports connect by cable, not directly into each other. The USB front panel ports are pretty standardized on all mother boards to be along that edge, as seen. The case will have appropriate cable pre-installed
