So, I'm new at this and need help figuring what are my choices are for Graphics card upgrades? Presently have NVIDIA GeForce 7500LE in it. Recently upgraded to dual core processor (Athlon (939 pin) 64 x2 4400) and have new 4Gb of RAM on way with 64-bit Win-7pro OS. Want to try RAID controller next. I've resurrected this thing from the dead by replacing some popped capacitors on both the mobo and graphics card, she just won't die! Its mostly for home shopping but want to play and see what else I can do with it before getting new. This is kind-a like working on an old car, not worth the effort but am enjoying myself too much to stop spending money/time playing with. You guys know what I'm talking about, eh?

Anybody recommend a worthwhile graphics card upgrade for this old thing? Thanks in advance!

That mobo has a PCI-E slot so newer cards can work thankfully :D . What's your power supply for it though? the 6570 or 6670 are generally good choices for OEM machines with weak PSUs

I replaced the 300w factory power supply too, it wasn't worth fixing with all of its bad components. (I think a power surge got it and the old Presario!)

Its got a 450 watt power supply in it now. I'm open to upgrading if need-be.

Even so, that CPU will bottleneck many higher up cards, in that case the 7750 would be the only thing I can recommend to you :D
