Hey guys , I have an HD Radeon 7990 and right now and im having lots of problems with it. I was thinking about selling it and getting the mew R9 290x and later buy a 2nd one. Do you guys think its a good solution? Btw i dont mind the noise or money it'll cost. Frankly two R9 would costess than the price i paid for the 7990

what are the problems you are having with the 7990? If it's a drivers problem, just wait a bit and AMD will update them. If it's a hardware problem, contact the manufacturer, and get a new one. Don't buy an R9. The drivers will barely work, as they are so new, and the 7990 is way more powerful. The R9 may barley beat it in CrossFire, but if you CrossFire the 7990, it will beat some Titan SLI setups.

Well for starters , i get horrible fps on Farcry 3 and Crysis 3. The Witcher 3 crashes if i turn the ubersampling on and even when i put the V-sync on , mostof my games are not at 60fps (even if fraps indicates me its at 60). I know its not because my friend and I play next to each other and i can CLEARLY see the smooth 60fpson his screen and mine looks like 45 (on Diablo 3) and we have the same monitor. Plus , when i turn the V-sync off i get 290fps so thats what i dont understand (and my my rig is waaay better than my friend's). I looked at the temperatures and theyre fine , i changed my cable fron HDMI to DVI , i updated my drivers to 13.9 , i checkedif the two GPUs were on and i even ran a test programm to check if any of my components were broken and everything's fine. So i really dont know what the problem is. I have a radeon hd 7990 , 16Gb Kingston RAM 1600 , 850W PSU , i7 4770k processor , Win 7 OS. On a 1080p , 5ms response time 60hz display

are you kidding 2 290x vs a 7990 and the 290x CF just barley beat the 7990? lol. the 290X is around 35-40% faster than a 7970......
