Will upgrading from a XFX 6850 OC to a GB R9 280X WF yield better temperatures?

Current rig:
i5 4570 @ 3.6
XFX 6850 OC (50%)
8GB 1600MHz
Corsair HX650W Bronze 80+
3 120mm fans (bottom intake, side intake, rear exhaust)
1 140mm fan (top exhaust)
Bitfenix Shinobi
1920x1080

The XFX 6850 has 1 central fan (pretty sure its 80mm).
I am going to get the r9 280X and probably overclock it a bit. I honestly don't care about fan noise and I usually game constant at 80% fan speed.

My temperatures can get pretty high on some benchmarking tools and games, like:

FurMark - 95 degrees @ 50% OC
Unigine Heaven - 80~ degrees @ 50% OC
MSI Kombuster - 66-70 degrees @ 50% OC
Tekkit @ full load - 73~ degrees @ 50% OC
Fallout: New Vegas (with graphic mods) 75~ degrees @ 50% OC
Idle: High 30's.

I am going to be getting the Gigabyte Windforce r9 280X.
Will my temperatures increase significantly from the change? Seeing as I am adding 2 more fans to my card. I may also add another fan (front intake).

~

Extra sort of irrelevant questions:

Will a 6 pin+2 pin PCIe power connector power this card?
Can this run Skyrim well with graphic mods + ENBS?

~

Thanks

Solution
Those temperatures are pretty average-ignore the Furmark test results, like OCCT it imposes an unreal load on the GPU.
Far as I can tell the windforce will be cooler and a good deal quieter, but it's BIG, check nothing in the case will interfere with its installation.
The PSU is a good one, so no possible issues there and the 6+2 PCI-E plugs are there for flexibility (and cost cutting): the one plug can be used in a 6 pin or 8 pin socket depending on what device is being installed, again, no problems there.
Looks like you're ready to 'go to checkout' to me. ;)
