amd chips have multi-threading enabled, where games don't make use of multi-threading, intel performs better at single threaded apps, so intel will perform better on games, and yes i agree with Akashdeep, why not go for asus? i have been using asus rigs on both amd and intel chips for more than 10 years, i keep using asus cuz they never dissapoint.

the 4670k will be excellent for games you don't need more.

gigabyte offers great value for money, you won't go wrong there, my friends use gigabyte my only problem with their boards is their bios tends to give a bit of lag when booting, other that that i havent found anything wrong with their mobos
