dual crossfire HD 7950 or one r9 280x

hi guyz,

I am planning to upgrade my gpu. I currently have Sapphire HD 7950 with boost. now i am thinking if i should go for 2nd 7950 or just buy the new r9 280x.

thanks for the reply. here are my specs.
Mobo: ASUS M5A99FX 2.0 Pro
CPU: AMD FX 8350
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 with boost
RAM: Gskill Sniper 8gb 1600mhz
PSU: FSP Epslon 700 watts

If I am going to go for 2nd 7950, i would change my psu with this one:

If you decide to Xfire, you will need to get a better PSU, the one you have will not handle it.

Hell I would replace the PSU anyway, its a VERY bad unit and will likely fail at some stage or another.

Now the PSU you chose to replace it with is a little overkill. There are much cheaper options in general if you are willing to live without modular. But that PSU is VERY good.

So my suggestion :

Get another HD7950 and get a new PSU. :D
