Hi, my current rig is:
- Cooler Master Trooper
- Noctua d14
- Asus Z68 V Pro gen 3
- i5 2500k at 4.2.ghz
- Saphire hd6870 1gb
- Seagate Barracuda 7200 2tb
- Cooler Master iGreen Power 600W

I just want to upgrade my Graphic Card, and i dont know what to do, i will play at 1080p, i usually play strategy games like Dawn of War 2, Starcraft 2, etc... but i would like to play normal games in high quality(not ultra).

My budget is about 240€(280$) more or less, and i see at that prices i can get a 7950 Vapor X for example or a Gigabyte Gtx760 OC, but im lost, i will not overclok it, so i need the best card at stock.
Can you recommend me the best card?
Thanks and regards

Actually the HD7950 and GTX760 are within 3% performance at stock.

But for overclocking the HD7950 is much preferred. Not to mention the HD7950 is like 20$ cheaper.

Anyway OP, if you do not overclock and are willing to pay a little bit more for the GTX760, then get the GTX760. If you want cheapest possible for a 3% loss in performance, which is negligable and will differ between different manufacturers(the vapor-x should be faster clocked out of the factory), then the HD7950 is better option.

Thanks, i think i would go with the gtx760 because here in Spain is cheaper than the 7950.

i think it would be a noce upgrade from the 6870.
But my i5 2500k at 4.2ghz is enough for the gtx760 or will the graphic bottleneck the cpu?
