Hey all, I'm looking to build a new PC to upgrade from a 4yr old computer. I already have a rough estimation of what parts i'll be getting, but I'm not sure if I could do better by going with other brands of the parts.

Gskills ripjaws 1600mhz 2x4gb kit
Plextor m5p 128gb
Wd 1tb blue
Gigabyte R9 280X
Superflower golden green 80+ gold 850w
Fractal design r4

Budget Range: ~$1600 (above build will cost me about $1200)
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Surfing/Multitasking -> Movies -> Occassional CPU-intensive applications e.g. Folding@Home -> Gaming
Are you buying a monitor: No
Do you need to buy OS: No
