Hello Everyone.
I decided to buy macbook pro a while back and thought wait till the new generation comes out.
Now it's out! but what bugs me is that the new macbook pro with base configuration doesn't have a discrete graphic card (opposed to last generation)

RMBP - Early 2013 --> NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M GDDR5 + Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB
RMBP - Late 2013 --> Iris Pro Graphics

I'm not a pro judging hardware, but i'm guessing that a GT650M+ Integrated HD4000 is more powerfull than a single Iris Pro Chipset! is that why the new generation is 200$ cheaper? Or maybe i'm totally wrong and Iris Pro chipset is a beast :D

Appreciate someone tell me which version to buy and clearfiy this for me.
Thanks a lot.

The Iris Pro 5200 is comparable (only a little slower) to the 650m whilst saving battery, it's pretty decent from what I hear
Take a look
