I have just bought a AMD FX 8350 cpu to replace my 1090t. Problem is I can't get the cpu stable even at stock settings. I have loaded the default bios settings, even lowered the RAM mhz.
It always seems to crash or BSOD when trying to render in 3Ds Max 2012.
I have tried lowering and increasing the voltage to the cpu but that hasn't seemed to help.
I have also installed some Microsoft hotfixes regarding this cpu. Really annoying. I was hoping to overclock this thing but I can't even get it to run at stock levels. Any thoughts?

16Gb 1333Ghz Corsair RAM
800w PSU
