The case comes with 2 140mm fans.

It has space for an additional 4 fans.

Should I go for 120mm or 140mm fans

140mm, Bigger fans push more air at slower speeds so less noise :)

Depends, they have 3 pin connectors which will plug onto the motherboard so make sure you board has enough fan outputs to support all the fans. You can also get 4 pin (variable speed controlled by the board, see mobo to see how many 4 pin outputs it has). Also you can get molex plugs that will plug directly into a 12v rail on the psu.

If your board supports them all then they will do fine.

The motherboard is coming tomorrow, its asrock z77 extreme 4.
People say it has 3 3pin headers, I don't know myself.

My psu is a corsair cx600m.

The 2 fans in the case look to be small white 3 pin plugs

The case comes with a fan controller, It looks to control 3 fans and looks to be powered by a 4 pin molex? Does this mean 3 fans get connected to the controller and all are powered by the controllers molex (4-pin plug)?
Where does the 4 pin plug go? into psu or onto mobo.

If i use the fan controller for 3 fans then i should be able to plug 3 more into the motherboard to get my 6 total?

(First build, bare with my lack of knowledge)
