Anyone know anything anout GPU sales on Black Friday?

Granted this q could apply to a wide range of stuff, namely computer hardware, but in my case I mostly am thinking video cards, RAM i need to upgrade from 4 1333 ddr3 to 8 1600...but anyways, keeping in mind, if it helps, that i have a lame prebuilt 3010 Optiplex w/240W psu i think... any ideas for black friday?? Of course i will upgrade to a better PSU, but you know, just as a detail, that's what i currently have...also I'm going to be playing @old 1366x768 a lot, but I need something easily handling 1080p, though of course i know over the last 6 years we've been natively trying for 1080p but still... thx guys..

I have sub-200$ btw i am 17 and jobless lol

I would stay away form RAM for the time being. Due to the huge fire in a main RAM factory in china almost all RAM prices have now nearly doubled. This facotry produces (Well, produced) about 30-35% of the worlds RAM.

As far as black firday sales go, you can't predict what will be on sale so you can only really see whats on offer at the time. =)

And without trying to be funny here, if you are 17 and jobless, why dont you save the cash for now? You never know when you might need it? (Sources: Bitter personal experience).

Before I started work at 16 I decided to go and blow the rest of my Xmas cash on a new GPU. I upgraded from a 550Ti to a 670. I had no money left after that, and when the time came for me to start work I realised I had no means of actually getting there. I didn't have a car, for obvious reasons, my place of work was 30 miles away, so a lift was out of the question, and so the only option was the train, at £13 a ticket, 5 days a week. Nearly lost my job in the first couple of weeks because of it. So yeah, I learned the hard way about not saving my money in case I need it. Lol.

But there's other things that could warrant you needing the money of course, such as something in your PC breaking meaning you need a replacement. A new GPU wont do you much good if you cant use the PC will it? XD
